Travel: Hidden Treasures at Raccoon Creek State ParkThis video is a video highlighting the hidden treasures at Raccoon Creek State Park. I produced this entire video myself aside from the music which is from Bensound. This project taught me that I can slow down my camera motion. The best thing about this project was getting to shoot outside in nature. If I was to remake this video, I would shoot it during the summer when the park looks happier.Narrative: Assateague IslandThis video is a photo narrative about Assateague Island, my family’s favorite vacation spot. I took almost all the photos myself except for about 2 that my mom sent me. Aside from that, I produced the whole video, music courtesy of Bensound. I learned that creating a photo video take a lot more time than you would think. The best part of this project was recording the audio clips of my brother and cousin and then sharing the video with my family. If I could go back in time and redo this project, I would’ve kept it much simpler.Promotional: Lizzie’s LopsThis video is a promotional video for rabbitry in western PA. The voice-over from the interview with the owner informs the viewer about the business while I show clips of adorable bunnies. I shot and edited this video myself. Lizzie (the owner of the business) helped me figure out what to shoot clips of and I interviewed her about the business. I used a VJ kit to shoot this video while I shot the other ones on my DSLR. I learned that I like the quality from my DSLR better, and it probably would’ve been able to focus on the moving bunnies better, so if I was to change something about the process of this video, it would be to shoot it with my DSLR. The best thing about this project was spending time with animals.Final: How to Throw DiscusThis video is an instructional video teaching you how to throw discus from my friend Emma who is a highschool discus coach. We came up with this video idea and shot it in the same day. I shot and edited it. Me and Emma worked together to come up with the creative concept for it, and she taught the lesson. I learned how to make clips look vintage, as well as techniques for placing text over a video. The best thing about this project is the 80s theme. If I could change something about this video it would be the audio. I would use a lav to record it.
